A high protein low carb diet is very simple in that it consists of eating more protein and less carbohydrates. This type of diet is typically used by people who are looking to increase their muscle mass, get toned and/or lose some weight.

A high protein low carb diet is a diet plan that ensures the amount of carbs consumed is limited and the amount of protein consumed is maximized. Many people follow on a no white food restriction, meaning that they do not consume sugars, white flour, white rice or potatoes.

And while they limit the number of carbohydrates or sugars they consume, they increase the amount of proteins they consume. The body uses protein constantly, so it is important that people have enough protein in their diet. And those considering a high protein low carb diet will need even more.
